Women in Language 2022
Join us for our fifth Women in Language, an online event created to champion, celebrate and amplify female and non-binary voices in language learning.
Passionate about language learning?
About culture? Education? Social topics? Equality? Self-improvement? Holistic learning?
We are too, and that's why we (that's Kerstin Cable, Lindsay Williams, and Shannon Kennedy) are back hosting our fifth Women in Language conference.
This March, join us in celebrating the many voices of language learning.
We do too.
The global situation that's become the new normal over the last couple years has put more distance between us than before -- we're craving connection.
Women in Language is an event where you can connect, find inspiration, and learn.
But that's not all Women in Language is. It's a platform to champion new and lesser heard voices.
Now more than ever, it's important for more voices to be heard.
That's why we do things a little differently, introducing...
Welcome to Women in Language
Without ever leaving the comfort of your couch, you can meet, collaborate, and connective with a supportive group of language learners through three action-packed days of panels, language practice sessions, and talks from an inspiring line-up of expert speakers with diverse backgrounds: polyglots, industry veterans, world travelers, teaching experts, academic professors, and innovators.
Not to mention--every speaker and panelist at this event is female, trans, or non-binary. Woot woot!
As a part of our fifth-anniversary event, we're putting 20+ female, trans and non-binary speakers in the spotlight.
Women In Language is a unique online event designed to champion, celebrate, and amplify the lesser-heard voices in language learning.
The event this year is happening Friday 4th March - Sunday 6th March 2022.
Oh, and you're going to have an amazing, inspiring, and motivating time.
- Parallel Perspectives: Looking at holistic language learning and other aspects of our lives parallel our language learning so that we can use these areas to become better language learners.
- (Re-)Connected Perspectives: The different ways languages connect or re-connect us.
- New Perspectives: Innovative ideas and strategies for language learning.
